✺Laegna

Numbers charged with symbolic energy. Bases of 2, 4 and 16; infinities that stay usable; the A·I·O·E quadrature underneath every derivation.

Inquiry · the residue

Every number, divided, leaves a truth.

Where the scientific world benefits from limitless infinities, it still needs, for its own practical purposes, a real number. Laegna numbers are charged with symbolic energy: they are weighed, not merely counted.

The system rests on a basis of 2, 4 and 16 — binary doubled into quadrature, then squared. Four symbols carry the argument: A assertion, I identity, O opening, E extension. Read the visualizer as a proof, not a toy.

“Counting is memory. The base is the memory that knows when to fold.”

An infinity in Laegna is not a place beyond arithmetic but a direction inside it: each added octave halves the lane while doubling the claim. Turn the base dial and the same integer becomes another word.

The quadrature weighs each base-4 residue by its octave, so the same number reads differently at different depths — a number is a posture, not a count.
